Access rules and limitations

  • Maximum 2 fridges or freezers per booking, large double-door combination fridge freezers need pre-approval
  • Maximum 2 mattresses per booking, soiled mattresses are not accepted
  • Maximum 9 black bags per booking, 3 bags count as 1 item
  • Any food must be removed from items or they will not be collected
  • Items must be at the front of the property at ground level, accessible without entering the property or garden
  • Collections run weekdays 8am to 5pm, the day depends on which part of the city you live in
  • Bookings must be made at least 2 days ahead and can be amended or cancelled up to 2 days before collection
  • Only available within Coventry City Council's area, not for businesses or private landlords

Kerbside-only rules are the norm across the UK; crews are not insured to enter your home. If nobody can get your items outside, see your options when you can't lift it.
