- The council cannot collect from inside houses or outbuildings, or from up or down steps
- Items must be out by 6am on the collection day, as close as possible to the boundary where bins are normally presented
- For flats or properties with difficult access, the collection point must be agreed with the council in advance and a site visit may incur extra fees
- Liquids or other contents must be removed from appliances before collection
- Items cannot be added, swapped or replaced once a booking is made
