Access rules and limitations
- Maximum 9 items per collection
- Items must be placed at the edge of the property near the kerb
- Collections take place between 6am and 3.30pm
- Cancellations need 2 working days notice
If you cannot move the items yourself: The shared waste service runs an assisted collection scheme for residents with a disability or mobility problem who cannot put their bin out, but it covers standard bin collections only, not bulky waste.
Kerbside-only rules are the norm across the UK; crews are not insured to enter your home. If nobody can get your items outside, see your options when you can't lift it.
