  • Agas and Rayburns
  • Baths, sinks and other sanitary ware
  • Boilers
  • Ammonia or commercial fridges and freezers
  • Garage doors
  • Hot tubs
  • Night storage heaters
  • Building rubble or materials
  • Drum containers, fluorescent tubes, gas cylinders
  • Hazardous waste including asbestos, paint
  • Tyres
  • Car parts including batteries, mobility scooters, trailers
  • Fire surrounds, sheet glass, pianos, sun beds, windows
  • Kitchen units, worktops over 6ft
  • Commercial waste and commercial-style fridges or freezers

Access rules and limitations

  • Maximum 10 items per booking
  • Items must be placed outside by 6am on the day of collection
  • Items must be accessible at the front of the property
  • No collections on bank holidays, these move to the day after
  • Maximum 4 domestic fridges or freezers, currently none accepted at all
  • Council does not collect from commercial properties or commercial items
